OpenRMF
Introduction
The Open Robotics Middleware Framework (Open-RMF) is a free, open-source software system that helps different robots and building systems work together smoothly.
It allows robots from different brands to share spaces and coordinate tasks, while also connecting with things like doors and lifts.
Open-RMF isn’t limited to robots—it’s designed to coordinate a wide range of systems, including robots and IoT devices, within a shared environment.
Although the name includes robot because it is built on Robot Operating System (ROS), its main role is to act as a unifying platform for managing diverse smart infrastructure.
